Maersk Procurement is looking for a Project Manager to join our Category Management team for APM Terminals in Rotterdam and that might just be you! You will be involved in several projects and the job will among other things include: • Support APM Terminals stakeholders in line with agreed strategies hereunder everyone from APM Terminals in Europe as well as technical and procurements managers at the terminals • Project Management of the overall procurement approach for the terminals in the Europe Region • Travelling to terminals on a regular basis to provide support for procurement related matters • Develop and analyze business intelligence to support business units Key Responsibilities You are an independent person who can make fast decisions under pressure and enjoy a technical aspect in your daily work. You are a good communicator and have a passion for project and stakeholder collaboration. Who we are looking for It is an advantage that you have a background working within Strategic Sourcing, Project Management and/or Category Management or something similar. If you are our ideal candidate you also come with a proven track record of: • Terminal industry knowledge • Excellent negotiation skills • Technical understanding • Proactive collaboration with suppliers, business partners and senior stakeholders • Business acumen Furthermore, as it will be an integral part of the position you must be prepared to travel on a frequent basis and stay for periods of 2-4 weeks when required to see through specific projects or processes.
