Mencap is the UK’s leading learning disability charity fighting for the rights of people with a learning disability and their families.
We are looking to recruit a campaigns and policy officer to lead Mencap’s campaigning work on a wide range of issues affecting children and young people with a learning disability and their families. The post-holder will have experience of working in a campaigning role, with excellent organisational and project management skills, and an ability to deliver successful and innovative campaigns.
You will be familiar with using the web and social media for developing campaigning networks and actions, and will have good knowledge of the UK political system at local and national level.
