: £31,504 – £33,727pa + pension and benefits

As Programme Development Research and Communications Officer for ActionAid International you will use your research expertise and well developed communications skills to support our drive to become more effective at being a value driven and forward thinking organisation focused on achieving long-term change.

Join us and you will support Senior Programme Managers in drafting, editing, proof-reading and designing reports, publications, presentations and web content. In addition to encouraging shared learning across the team, you will compile inspiring stories as well as ensure communications are relevant and current for a variety of audiences. You will also be an important research resource supporting strategic objectives by conducting secondary research on specific issues and providing data and policy analysis for Senior Programme Managers.

With a good understanding of international development programmes including terminology and language you will be highly experienced at writing engaging copy. Comfortable working to deadlines you will have an eye for detail and well developed communication and organisational skills. Important will be your commitment to our mission and passion to make a difference to our success.
