Editor-in-Chief--SADA Online Journal on Arab Reform

The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a leading think tank specializing in international affairs with global operations, is seeking an Editor-in-Chief for SADA, the online bilingual journal on political change and reform trends in the Arab World. The Editor-in-Chief works to identify and publish leading thinkers and new voices from the region and to expand SADA’s growing network in the U.S. and the Middle East. Responsibilities will include overseeing a managing editor in Washington and an assistant editor in Beirut. Position is based in Washington DC and reports to the Vice President for Studies (Middle East Program).


Qualifications


Ideal candidate will have deep expertise on the Middle East; demonstrated excellence in writing and editing; attention to detail; fluency in Arabic; and advanced degree and/or relevant experience. Applicants considering full-time or part-time (approximately 21 hours per week) will be considered. EE/M/F/D/V
