Transparency International (TI) is the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption. Through more than 90 chapters worldwide and an international secretariat in Berlin, Germany, TI raises awareness of the damaging effects of corruption and works with partners in government, business and civil society to develop and implement effective measures to tackle it.

The Private Sector Team is charged with managing the Business Integrity Programme, whose goal is to identify corruption in the private sector, engage the private sector in combating corruption and advocate for reforms that promote business integrity.

Main function: Working under the supervision of the Senior Programme Manager, the Programme Coordinator, Private Sector, provides substantive and administrative support to the Private Sector Team to ensure effective implementation of the TI 2015 Strategy. The Coordinator contributes to TI policy development, playing an active part in the Business Integrity programme. S/he carries out research for and the writing and promotion of TI policy in publications and other outreach materials.

Reporting lines: Senior Programme Manager

Responsibilities:
• Contribute actively and support to the Private Sector team
• Coordinate Private Sector tool development and production
• Maintain contacts, via Regional Departments, with key Chapters and Support National Chapter engagement efforts
• Support the use of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning frameworks to foster effective use of TI policy positioning across TI-S and the Movement
• Any other tasks identified by the line manager necessary to ensure that the Business Integrity Program is successfully implemented
Knowledge, experience and skills:
• Masters or equivalent in a relevant academic field (economics, political science, business or non-profit management or similar)
• 3+ years practical experience in relevant fields.
• Some understanding of private sector corruption and anti-corruption topics (bribery, compliance, and governance)
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, verbal and written
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), additional languages an advantage
• Personal commitment to social justice and business integrity
• Good organisational skills
