Programme finance officer, Haiti

The Haiti emergency appeal raised vital funds and we need to ensure that these funds are managed appropriately alongside those of our existing country programme. You will be working with our partners to ensure that they have the financial capacity to respond to our emergency programme and to ensure that financial reporting and compliance standards continue to be met.

We need an experienced finance professional to support our partners and the country teams in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Reporting to the Emergency Finance Manager, you’ll be involved in building our partners’ financial capacity, financial reporting and compliance of Christian Aid and donor funded programmes.

Substantial experience of financial accounting procedures and controls and experience of delivering financial capacity building will enable you to fulfil the needs of this role. Spoken and written French and English is an essential requirement for this post and spoken Spanish is desirable.
