The Government of Vanuatu, is recruiting for a Telecommunications Regulator.

The primary responsibilities of the Telecommunications Regulator include, but are not limited to the regulation of telecommunications & radiocommunications subject to the Telecommunications & Radiocommunications Regulation Act No 30, 2009. (see www.trr.vu )

Required Experience:

• Extensive regulatory or legal expertise in the telecommunications industry (ideally in developing countries) specifically on: licensing, dispute resolution, competition issues, interconnection, universal service, spectrum management, tariffs, consumer protection & standards
• 10 years minimum experience in telecommunications
• Relevant degree qualifications

• Demonstrated management & leadership, ethical judgment, advanced communications skills, highly motivated & initiative driven
• Ability to contribute culturally & professionally in an emerging sector and developing nation
