INTERPOL is now looking for a qualified candidate to serve as Security Administrator within the Corporate Support Sub-Directorate* in the Executive Directorate for INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation.

Under the direct supervision of the Security Coordinator EDIGCI, the Security Administrator is responsible for the supervision of the organization and functioning of the different teams taking turns at the Security External Post and its annexes. He/she plans and organizes close protection missions. He/she is in charge of the administration linked to the functioning of the security missions. He/she also responsible for the drafting of technical documents relating to threat assessment and risk prevention.

Primary Duties
• Ensure optimal security of the IGCI building and staff members. For this, he/she closely supervises the members of the team and their use of the technical facilities.
• Coordinate the rest of the task relating to security involving the security agents and the security receptionist.
• Analyze and takes immediate measures in case of emergency ensuring adequate and timely communication between the Organization and the police services.
• Manage the administration of the service.
• Analyze the training needs of the security service, carry out training for the use of new equipment, coordinate the organization of training and re-training sessions for the IGCI security personnel. Manage the purchasing and procurement of supplies and equipment.
• Upon a VIP visit, request, coordinate and verify the safety devices with the police services.
• Manage and verify ordinary operations of service providers.
• Prepare sensitive areas’ travel information files, making use of available sources and in coordination with local embassies.
• Focal point for the coordination and preparation of badges, INTERPOL travel documents (E passport, eID Cards) and updating files appropriately. Back up for the same activity at Headquarters in Lyon.
• Carry out all other duties as may be required by the hierarchy.

Requirements
All candidates will be assessed on the under mentioned requirements.
Education
• Good general knowledge.
• Equivalent education at French level “Bac + 2” attested by a diploma.
Experience
• Professional experience in the security branch (military, police), administration and information technology.
• Able to operate IT equipment.
Languages
• Fluency in written and spoken English and French.

In addition to the requirements, the following Assets and Special Aptitudes would be beneficial.
• Additional training in information technology.

Working Conditions
• This post is to be filled on the basis of a secondment.
• Remuneration: INTERPOL does not pay salary to seconded officials. Depending on the nationality of the official, an expatriation allowance may be paid for a maximum period of six years. • This post requires occasional travel on missions, sometimes of a long duration and at short notice.
• The incumbent will be occasionally required to work irregular hours or overtime based upon workload.
