Stenden University Qatar (SUQ) is a branch campus of Stenden University located in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands.

SUQ offers a four-year Bachelor program in Business Administration with majors in International Tourism Management, International Hospitality Management and Internationa Business and Management Studies.The unique educational concept offers students the possibility to professionalize themselves in the service management field to become a good manager. The Problem Based Learning concept and the balance between theory and practice will make sure students are ready for the work environment field after graduation.

The Faculty of Business Administration is seeking to appoint Lecturers/Senior Lecturers with relevant knowledge and experience in any of the following fields:

• Marketing
• Strategic Management
• General Management
• Economics
• Finance
• Accounting

Main Purpose of Job:

• Lecturer/Senior Lecturer is responsible for lecturing in specific designated fields/domains.
• Lecturer/Senior Lecturer is responsible for conducting PBL sessions.
• Participating in extra-curricular activities.
• Responsible for delivering other teaching forms such as Business Communication workshops, outings, field trips, etc.
• Contributing to the overall quality of the educational process in general.
• Senior Lecturer is assigned by Team Leader to manage specific projects.
• Fulfill the requirements of Stenden University Qatar's Customer Service policy and Staff and Student Code of Ethics.

Person Specification

• Lecturer: Masters in a relevant subject specialism.
• Senior Lecturer: PhD in a relevant subject specialism.
• Min. of 4 years' experience in the related field.
• Min. of 3 years' teaching experience in Higher Education Institution.
• Excellent English writing & speaking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level computer skills
• Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment
• Flexible approach and ability to work in teams
• Ability and experience in teaching all years of a degree program
• Potential for developing and exploring new teaching methods
