2 year fixed term contract, with a possible one year extension subject to agreement. UK appointed Pay Band 9a: £47,000 plus allowances

The British Council is the UK’s international agency for Cultural Relations. It exists to create international opportunities for the people of the UK and other countries and aims to build trust between them worldwide.
 
This role will increase the impact and income of British Council work in the Gulf through the development of new co-funded, co-created programmes, delivered with partners to meet market needs. The post-holder will lead on fund raising to deliver these programmes, as well as identifying new funding sources for our on-going successful programmes.    The post-holder will be expected to meet demanding growth targets for both income and impact.
