ESF Educational Services Limited (ESL), a company affiliated to the English Schools Foundation, delivers a highly successful programme of after-school English and other language teaching and sports coaching for children across Hong Kong, and also operates four international kindergartens.
Director of Languages and Educational Services

Responsibilities
We are looking for a qualified, experienced and highly motivated manager for the position of Director of Language and Educational Services. 

As Director of Language and educational Services you would be expected to lead the programme and its team by developing and driving strategies for long-term growth of language learning. The position is also responsible for ensuring the high quality of the ESL language programme and appropriate training and professional development of teachers.

Additionally, the post holder is responsible for managing a diverse team of some 9 full-time teachers, 177 part-time teachers and EAs, as well as an operational staff delivering language programmes in multiple locations throughout Hong Kong.

Requirements
To be considered, candidates must have a degree from a recognized institution and a CELTA qualification or equivalent. As this is a diverse role, the candidate must also have at least 5 years of strong and demonstrable experience in:

• teaching ESL to young learners
• managing teachers and developing them professionally
• curriculum and course development 
• assuring the quality control of language teaching
• business development
• development of educational services and programmes

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and grow an already strong language programme and to develop new and complementary educational services to meet the growing needs of this dynamic marketplace. Strong leadership and management skills, including managing programme budgets and monitoring financial performance are essential.
