Description: The Faculty of Communication Studies requires a part time instructor in journalism fall and winter 2013-2014.

Duties: The successful candidate will have a significant and proven background and at minimum 5 years direct experience in:
• News reporting with a focus on print
• Copy editing experience including knowledge of CP Style
• Some background in online reporting and editing experience
• An understanding of production software including InDesign and Photoshop, and general design principles
• Demonstrated understanding of newspaper editorial leadership, and audience development and needs

Qualifications: Graduate degree required, doctoral degree preferred.
