BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the BBC, is looking for a Corporate Lawyer to provide legal and business affairs support to all BBC Worldwide divisions in respect of corporate and large scale commercial transactions. Offered as a 12 month contract, you’ll have at least 2 years PQE including substantial experience of drafting corporate documents. We’re looking for an immediate start so this role is ideal for anyone already working their notice.

Role
You’ll be responsible for a range corporate work such as drafting, negotiating and advising on restructures, disposals, acquisitions and investments. In addition, you’ll work on commercial matters (such as partnership/outsourcing arrangements, service level/intercompany agreements and areas of risk management). It’s a broad role that involves both transactional and advisory work and sits in the Business & Legal Affairs, Corporate Centre team.

Requirements
You’ll have at least 2 years experience PQE along with substantial experience drafting and negotiating corporate documents. Including shareholders’ agreements, articles of association and sale and purchase agreements. Due to the nature of work this role is ideal for someone who shares a passion for corporate over commercial.
