Commencing in January 2013, Voices of Development is a ground breaking two year pilot programme that will significantly enhance and increase the engagement of volunteers at each stage of their volunteer journey. Created through a partnership between Restless Development and VSO, the programme is designed to equip, empower and facilitate these volunteers to effectively contribute to international development debates and campaigns in the UK. By offering a wide menu of engagement options this pilot will create an intimate group of ‘Development Advocates’ and a larger group of ‘Development Champions’ with the ambition of influencing policy and practice and inspiring action across a number of audiences – public, government and private sector.

As the consortium lead for Media, the Restless Development Media & PR Manager will be tasked with leading the development and implementation of a specific Media & PR Strategy to support the Voices for Development programme on behalf of the consortium, working closely with key stakeholders across Restless Development, the consortium and within the Gates Foundation.
