An exciting opportunity has arisen in BBC Scotland’s Children’s department for a Co-ordinator to work in an acting PM role on one of CBeebies flagship programmes – Nina and the Neurons.  This department is responsible for producing many projects including All Over the Place, Copycats, My Story and Sports Relief Does Glee Club

Role

This role will require the successful candidate to be responsible for production from pre through to post, including budget management, scheduling, strong negotiation skills, managing talent, and working with large production teams, including working with and managing direct reports.

Requirements

You’ll possess highly developed organisational and planning skills and be able to schedule and prioritise people and activities to meet operational deadlines.    In addition you’ll need excellent communication and influencing skills as well as strong negotiation skills, to enable you to influence and manage deals and contracts.   We well as thorough knowledge of the market for various types of supplier and resources.    You will also have demonstrable experience of working productively and collaboratively within diverse production teams.   As well as advising on production systems and support the implementation of new technologies on productions.   You should also have thorough knowledge of the BBC values, its policies, procedures and guidelines and, in particular, the Editorial and Health & Safety Guidelines.
