Programme Manager

Commencing in January 2013, Voices of Development is a ground breaking two year pilot programme that will significantly enhance and increase the engagement of volunteers at each stage of their volunteer journey. Created through a partnership between Restless Development and VSO, the programme is designed to equip, empower and facilitate these volunteers to effectively contribute to international development debates and campaigns in the UK. . By offering a wide menu of engagement options this pilot will create an intimate group of ‘Development Advocates’ and a larger group of ‘Development Champions’ with the ambition of influencing policy and practice and inspiring action across a number of audiences – public, government and private sector.

As the internal Programmatic lead, the Programme Manager will be tasked with leading the development and implementation of a specific operational plan for the Voices of Development programme, in addition to driving the broader strategic direction of this area of work for Restless Development’s International Youth Engagement Strategy.
