BBC Local Radio runs a number of BBC shops with the key aim to promote the BBC and its output. The shops also provide a point of contact to licence payers and the local audience, to interact with the local Radio or TV station.

Role
You will be selling a selection of BBC books, DVDs, CDs and general merchandise. Daily tasks include dealing with customer queries; carrying out sales transactions; assisting with deliveries; placing orders and producing displays.

Requirements
You should have previous experience in book, video or music retail and have a high level of customer focus and interest in both our product range and broadcasting output. You should be a quick learner with excellent interpersonal skills. Having the ability to operate an EPoS system is preferred.
