Senior Financial Analyst, Sales and Promotions (Montreal, QC)

Reporting to the Director, Financial Analysis and Planning, the Senior Financial Analyst coordinates and participates in the budgeting process, financial planning, and financial information analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in planning, organizing, and coordinating the annual budgeting process within departments with respect to sales of the GMCR Holdings Inc. Division
• Prepares the financial planning process (periodic 12-month, quarterly, and five-year forecasts)
• Coordinates information gathering and prepares financial and management reports on a periodic basis; performs gross margin analysis by product group and distribution channels
• Takes part in various special projects in collaboration with his or her supervisor
• Performs various financial monitoring and analysis tasks for the Sales Departments
• Analyzes and optimizes processes as part of continuous improvement efforts
• In collaboration with his or her supervisor, provides support to senior sales management within the GMCR Holdings Inc. Division

QUALIFICATIONS

·      Recognized accounting accreditation (CA, CMA, CGA)

• Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in financial analysis within a business setting
• Constant and recognized integrity

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Rigorous approach to work and outstanding analysis skills
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both French and English
• Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Oracle Hyperion and Demantra, an asset
• Flexibility and adaptability 
• Self-starter
