: £44,320 - £47,448 pro rata

As Senior Strategy and Planning Manager at ActionAid UK we will look to facilitate the implementation of a long-term vision, strategy and plan to achieve lasting impact as well as enable the strategic development of the organisation. You will also lead engagement with ActionAid International providing strategic and technical support to help drive the international strategy development process. This will involve developing robust strategic planning tools that integrate learnings from reviews and provide a clear framework that actively engages employees with the development process. Important will be the ability to convert strategy into priorities, plans and objectives as well as embed transparency and accountability.

With a recognised qualification or substantial experience in project management you will have developed strong management and coordination skills in a senior level strategic and creative leadership role. You will also have a sound understanding of organisational development principles and practice. Comfortable planning, sponsoring, supervising and evaluating major projects you will be skilled at managing stakeholder relationships and an effective facilitator who can motivate and build teams.
