YOUTH ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY
The MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking) campaign is a multimedia initiative produced by the MTV EXIT Foundation to raise awareness and increase prevention of human trafficking. Since our inception in 2004, we have reached over 300 million people across the world through television programs, online media, live events, and partnerships with anti-trafficking organizations. MTV EXIT is a regional campaign in Southeast Asia that operates primarily in Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar and Indonesia.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our regional team in Bangkok as the Youth Engagement Manager. You will manage the design, implementation, and development of all youth engagement activities, including national and regional-level Youth Sessions, community-based Roadshows, school outreach activities, and other youth engagement competitions and events. MTV EXIT Youth Engagement projects build the capacity of youth leaders to run their own creative human trafficking awareness campaigns and educate their communities about key safe migration information.

MAIN RESPOSIBILITIES
You will manage both headquarters and field staff to effectively design and deliver all Youth Engagement programs, with specific responsibilities that include:
Integrate all youth engagement programs (Youth Sessions, Roadshows, education outreach, etc.) into a seamless strategy and ensure that each program contributes to key Youth Engagement objectives.
Lead design and content generation for all deliverables and activities.
Collaborate closely with the headquarters Youth Sessions and Roadshow Coordinators to design and implement effective, feasible, and innovative programming.
Manage the quality of outputs and deliverables produced by the Youth Sessions Coordinator, Roadshow Coordinator, and all Field Coordinators.
Work with MTV EXIT’s Head of Development to ensure the buy-in of Youth Engagement activities by key national government ministries, NGO partners, and donors.
Work in tandem with the Corporate Sponsorship & Media Manager and the Head of Development to secure secondary funding for Youth Engagement programming.
Create opportunities to enhance Youth Engagement activities by leveraging MTV EXIT’s other main campaign deliverables (i.e. concert, creative media, digital platforms, corporate partnerships, etc.)
First Point of Contact (POC) for creative talent involved in Youth Engagement programming.
First POC for donor relations in relation to Youth Engagement.
First POC for M&E in relation to Youth Engagement.
Responsible for managing all qualitative and quantitative reporting of Youth Engagement programs.
Responsible for managing all budget lines associated with Youth Engagement activities
Prioritize Youth Engagement staff workloads to ensure that key deliverables are being effectively met within set timeframes.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of five years of professional experience including three years in a leadership role managing complex education or youth development programs.
The ideal candidate will have a BA in International Development, International Relations, Social Sciences, Education or a related field (MA/S preferred).
Experience working in an international environment is essential; Asia experience is strongly preferred.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workloads in a very diverse and multi-functional role.
Highly developed communication skills and ability to develop diverse partnerships
Experience working with and/or producing media and public awareness campaigns is desirable.
Successful applicant must be a self-starter who is proactive, highly motivated, and able to work on his/her own initiative.
Highly detail-oriented and organized
Highly developed social skills, team-oriented with a positive attitude.
Strong computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Experience with graphic design and Project Management Systems desirable.
