QGC is a leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer. QGC is establishing one of Australia’s largest capital infrastructure projects to turn our world-class reserves of coal seam gas into liquefied natural gas (LNG). Queensland Curtis LNG, a priority project for QGC, involves expanding our exploration and development in southern and central Queensland and transporting gas via a 380km buried pipeline to Curtis Island near Gladstone, where it will be liquefied. QGC operates the gas-fired Condamine Power Station, the world’s first combined-cycle power station to run entirely on coal seam gas.
Position Summary
This position will provide support to the Area Operations Superintendent’s at Ruby Jo (Dalby). The incumbent will be required to actively carry out all administration activities relating to the specific area of operation.
Key Accountabilities
Core Accountabilities 
Position Specific •  Develop, implement and maintain Policies & Procedures
 • Maintain a library of material and be accountable for the document management within this area
 • Develop, implement and be accountable for the maintenance of relevant data bases
 • Monitor business calendar with regards to delivery of ADR’s, APR’s, asset integrity and auditing procedures
• Assist where requested in the planning & prioritising of team workflow
• Coordinate and administer the C&P processes including relevant budgets on contracts and being the BG contact point for vendors, including follow up support
• Develop and maintain administrative controls and procedures within the work area
• Administer external vendor accounts
• Assist in the allocation of maintenance work orders to BG staff and external contractors
• Develop, implement and maintain a daily call in register for maximum safety and security of the team
• Be instrumental in the collation of imperative information for the Area Superintendent
• Coordinate the Area Operations Superintendant and the appropriate teams travel and accommodation bookings, meeting room bookings, car hire, catering bookings and prepare expense and credit card claims for the area operations team
• Use of Multilink programs for the input of incident, hazard and safety data ie: Synergi, Cura & Chem Alert
• Maintain document integrity for Incite
• Assist and execute objectives and directions provided by the Area Operations Superintendent in order to effectively support the operations team including specific project tasks from time to time
• Train and support the operations team as required with SAP, IT issues, computer programs i.e.: Microsoft Suite and PPE requirements
• Ensure all activities within Operations follow QGC purchasing procedures and are in accordance with the Financial Authorities Standard
• Proficient in SAP i.e.: time sheeting, purchase requisitions, goods receipting and stock reservations
• Manage Operators equipment and maintain relevant registers
• Provide assistance to operators with orifice plate changes in Field Terminal Server and Roclink programs
• Provide generic administration support as required to the Area Operations team and Superintendent including diary management
• Organise and prioritise appointments as required for the Area Operations Superintendent, liaising with external stakeholders for complex meeting schedules
• Compile data, organise and generate papers and reports as requested by the Area Operations Superintendent
• Work to improve administrative process and share views and ideas with colleagues in other operational areas

Experience• Demonstrated experience in administrative roles in an office/field environment
• Experience with, and commitment to, facilities maintenance systems, procedures & quality assurance

• Good computing skills – Microsoft Office, and ability to quickly assimilate to new electronic management systems
• SAP experience
