The role
Working within our Site Assessment and Remediation team (SAR) your
role, as a senior member of the team, is reporting directly to the Group
Leader. As Principal you will work with the project team to provide
services to a variety of private and public sector clients located
within WA. A key emphasis is to build relationships with existing and
new clients by providing high quality service to meet client
expectations. It is also anticipated that you will also be actively
involved in other projects nationally as required.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Fulfil the role of project director on individual projects and take overall responsibility for client liaison, strategic direction, technical performance, staffing, financial and scheduling performance.
- Implement, develop and progressively refine strategic direction and business plans.
- Identify and attract future business prospects while maintaining existing client relationships.
- Support the professional development of individual staff members.
- Undertake reviews of current projects including seeking client feedback, testing project strategy and supplying advice and guidance on the running of the project.
- Monitor all operations for compliance with statutory regulations, environmental laws and company policy.
The person
You will have significant experience in Environmental
Assessment/Management primarily in contamination assessment and relevant
qualifications. Your in-depth knowledge of the WA market will be a
distinct advantage in addition to working knowledge and involvement with
mine closure planning.
You will have high level strategic planning and leadership skills
including excellent organisational and time management skills. Intuitive
and proactive, you will have a flair for identifying client needs and
maximising business growth opportunities.
