A&M Production has approximately 550 staff based in London Broadcasting House, Bristol, Birmingham and Salford. Producers work as part of a team within a unit, reporting to an Editor, who in turn reports to a Head.

Role

This role is offered as an attachment/fixed term contract for a period of 9 months, from April to December 2013, Grade 7-9D.
 
We are looking for a producer to join the team that works on the Multimedia Health Check. Under the Health Check brand there is a World Service radio magazine programme, short films and live interviews about international health that are broadcast on World News TV, a monthly compilation of films broadcast on World News TV and online written pieces. The producer may be asked to work on any of these elements and will be supporting the lead producer on this project.

Requirements

The producer must have:

- experience of researching , commissioning and producing items about international health for TV and radio, both live and recorded
- ability to generate ideas for these items
- production skills in both radio and TV, including FinalCutPro
- track record in briefing presenters
- experience of writing for online
