Senior R&D consultant - Actimage | Luxembourg

You will join our European innovative project team based in Luxembourg, to play an active role in our projects covering different policy domains. Your main activities will include:

• Identifying R&D and Innovation funding opportunities at EU level;
• Networking activities at European level: identifying and liaising with partners for joint research programs, promoting projects to the European institutions, etc.;
• Contributing to the conception of projects and preparing R&D project proposals for European funding schemes (FP7, CIP, AAL, EUREKA, INTERREG, etc…).

Profile

• You hold a university degree (a PhD would be appreciate), preferably in ICT related subjects, Economics or management science, a PhD;
• You have some professional experience in a technical position;
• You are conversant with methodologies and new technologies;
• You are familiar with the different stages of a project life cycle;
• You communicate fluently in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of another European language is considered an advantage;
• Knowledge of EU level funding opportunities as well as the workings of EU institutions is an advantage;
• You are open-minded, creative, enthusiastic and flexible;
• You have commercial flair and are a natural team player.
