We wish to appoint at least one position at Chair/Reader level (ref), one at Senior
Lecturer/Lecturer (ref) and another at any level between Lecturer and Chair.

We are seeking to appoint outstanding individuals with independent research
programmes who will complement and enhance our internationally-renowned
research programmes in Neuroscience, Cardiovascular Science and Cell Signalling
& Cell Biology, and contribute to our undergraduate teaching programmes.
Candidates with an established track record in research in any of the above fields,
including those with a background of Pharmacology, will be welcomed. In addition
to our undergraduate scientific programmes the School contributes to teaching on
professional programmes (medical, veterinary and dental) and we would welcome
applicants with appropriate professional qualifications.

The School, housed in the Medical Sciences Building, provides an exceptional
platform for establishing a productive research programme in an environment that
seeks to foster cross disciplinary collaboration between research groups. High quality
centralised research facilities are in place for proteomics, genomics, imaging studies
and in vivo research.
