Oracle Solution Architect
Organizational Setting:
Realization by the IAEA of enterprise resource planning (ERP) is central to increasing efficiency and effectiveness in programme delivery. The IAEA's
ERP, known as the IAEA-wide Information System for Programme Support (AIPS), will improve the quality, accuracy and timeliness of, and access to,
management information, and will harmonize and streamline the processes that underpin programme delivery. The objective is to implement a single,
fully integrated solution that leverages Oracle ERP software and best practice processes, replacing 45 stand-alone systems. Eight business areas will be
addressed: finance, procurement, programme and project management, human resources, contacts, meetings, travel and transportation. The initial
phase focused on the first three areas and facilitated the introduction of new accounting standards (International Public Sector Accounting Standards -
IPSAS). The project is now addressing other business areas.
The IAEA is looking to engage a consultant for six to twelve months, to provide advice and support to the AIPS implementation project.

Purpose of Consultancy:
The Oracle Solutions Architect provides expertise to ensure the realization of agreed changes and enhancements to the
implemented Oracle systems, defining functional & technical requirements and carrying out  the development,
testing and deployment of the Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Hyperion Planning and OBIEE application
    components, extensions, integrations and reports.Consultancy Opportunity

Role:
The Oracle Solutions Architect is a technical  expert, contributing to design and development work related to ongoing AIPS enhancements and working with the internal teams and implementation partners for the delivery of
assigned tasks.

Functions / Key Results Expected:

 Design and develop innovative solutions to business problems and enhancement requests, taking full
account of existing system design constraints.
 Conduct change impact analysis of identified changes by business and ensure optimal solution selection.
 Identify opportunities for business process improvement and develop solution options for implementation.
 Carry out the implementation of new modules, ensuring overall design alignment.
 Plan and where necessary execute regression testing for introduction of business and system changes.
 Provide support for the overall solution design and configuration of Oracle E-Business Suite and Hyperion
Planning application modules, custom extensions and reports, integration components, OBIEE reports and
dashboards components in the production environment as part of the support team. Qualifications and Experience:
 Advanced university degree, or equivalent qualification, in information management or computer sciences
or related fields.
 Strong knowledge with respect to the design, development, deployment and operation of Oracle E-Business
Suite, specifically Release 12 Oracle Financials and Procurement.
 At least three end to end life cycle implementations on Oracle E-Business Suite, including one
implementation Oracle Release 12.
 Knowledge of Oracle Release 12 Projects &Grants is highly desirable.
 Knowledge of OBIEE is highly desirable
 Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Application Support in large complex environment is desirable.
 Experience in and exposure to Oracle Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Reporting is desirable.
 Practitioner certification in PRINCE2 is desirable.
 Excellent command of verbal and written English. Expression of Interest:

Remuneration:
The remuneration for this vacancy is a monthly lump sum fee of €8500. This lump sum comprises of the consultant
fee and the subsistence allowance.
