About the Job: 
HOPE International is looking for a Senior Advisor - New Savings and Credit Associations Programs. S/he will be responsible for the strategic, geographical expansion of HOPE International's savings and credit associations (SCA) programming.
Tasks and Responsibilities: 
  • Provide technical and operational leadership to the global expansion of HOPE SCA program;
  • Lead the development and implementation of assessment tools and methodologies for assessment of SCA expansion opportunities;
  • Make recommendations to senior SCA leadership on potential expansion countries, based on preliminary desk assessment or other inputs;
  • Organize and conduct in-house (or contracted) desk research on potential expansion opportunities;
  • Based on full assessment, provide detailed recommendation to leadership;
  • Upon program approval, support senior leadership in the development and implementation of new program.
Qualifications: 
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Management, or equivalent plus more than 5 years of professional experience in multi/cross-cultural ministry;
  • Strong analytical aptitude and working skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal/relational skills with experience in relationship management;
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a multi/cross-cultural environment;
  • Proven track record in overseeing multi-faceted projects, strong project management skills;
  • Ability to be “on site” for extended period of time;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
