SME Finance Expert, Armenia

About the Organization: 
LFS Financial Systems GmbH (LFS) is an advisory and management firm based in Berlin, Germany specializing in micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) finance. Its major clients include the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau (KfW), among others. In addition to the provision of advisory services to banks and non-banks in the MSME finance field, LFS has built a network of specialized small business banks for which it acts as the management company and holds significant ownership.

About the Job: 
LFS is looking for a SME Finance Expert in Armenia. S/he will be working within a team of specialized advisers for an SME finance capacity building project with participating financial institutions in Armenia.

Qualifications: 

• At least 7 years work experience in banking, including experience in SME finance;
• Proven track record of successful development/management of commercial SME lending operations;
• Experience in providing staff trainings;
• Fluency in English;
• Willingness to work on the ground in Armenia for a period of up to 9 months;
• ADB member country citizenship;
• Working experience in Central Asia and/or the Caucuses;
• Knowledge of Russian.
