Be an expert in linux system configuration and networking, including installing and maintaining desktop, embedded, and server operating systems and applications, maintaining and monitoring system and network performance and security, computer hardware component selection and configuration, and writing documentation of all systems
Solve unconventional challenges utilizing the full range of their skill-set
Some travel to client sites may be required.
Requirements:
Expertise in Linux system administration and network system administration
Expertise in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls and other networking hardware
Experience with real-time streaming network protocols (telecon etc..) and advanced wireless networking configurations a plus
Experience in system design, sizing, provisioning, and implementation
Experience scripting in Python, Perl, or Bash.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision within an interrupt-oriented environment
Documentation skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Exceptional client communication skills
Experience in Windows system administration a plus
