Position Summary The job holder will be responsible for managing and analysing information of the Upstream Commercial Team.

Key Accountabilities Every individual has a duty to both themselves and those around them to ensure that safe practice is adhered to at all times. - Prepare and manage updates of the upstream commercial risk register and team action logs. - Complete preliminary analysis and review of all operating committee proposals received in the JVs and make recommendations to the commercial managers accordingly - Act as Secretary of the Ballots Committee meetings, being responsible for preparing the agenda, the minutes and logging all the related actions - Planning and analysis in preparation for internal or external meetings - ad hoc support for preparation of presentations or other written communications - Assist responsible manager in negotiation and management of specific upstream or BV agreements, such as abandonment security agreement, framework agreements, PDA - Assist line manager in managing areas of overlap and interface with, and influencing, key developments in the midstream and downstream areas as appropriate, including interfaces with gas, oil and operations teams - Assist with ensuring compliance with VAF and other BG Group standards and policies, including - Add value through effective networking with key internal stakeholders

Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute Good understanding of oil & gas commercial environment Some experience of evaluating risk-reward balance in commercial contracts Some experience of involvment in agreement drafting and negotiation Upstream exposure would be a plus Experience in working on complex negotiation deals or multi-party JVs would be a plus Degree: Engineering and / or business background would be a plus Strong analytic and diagnostic skills Fluency in written and spoken English and Portuguese. High level of motivation, cultural sensitivity and emotional resilience necessary
