Role

The BBC One Controller is the channel’s editor in chief; in charge of the BBC One brand and its editorial vision. You’ll help inspire programme makers to deliver the channel commissioning and scheduling strategies, ensuring the highest standards and quality at all times. You’ll work closely with the other BBC channels, the commissioners in BBC Television and the production community to deliver the best programmes possible to our audiences.

Requirements

A recognised industry figure with a strong editorial and creative reputation, you’llhave a considerable track record of shaping programme initiatives, building strongprogramme brands and translating audience insight into programme strategy.
