As part of Programmes & On Demand within the BBC that is responsible for BBC’s iPlayer portfolio proposition across PC, tablet, mobile and TV platforms we have a Digital Analyst requirement that sits within the iPlayer Radio Product Management team and will operate across all platforms (PC, tablet, mobile web and native mobile apps).
Though our products already rank among the most popular in the UK, we see a great deal of creativity and growth in the future. In partnership with the BBC’s editorial teams, we will transform the way media is consumed online and create experiences that weren’t possible in a traditional broadcast environment.
As a Digital Analyst you’ll provide reporting and analysis on the features performance using our web analytic solution (Comscore’s Digital Analytix), take a lead on improving the analytics lifecycle and support the teams platform roadmaps.
You’ll inspire a data driven culture and be responsible for defining and analysing AB/Multivariate tests in order to understand requirements for new and existing product features.
You will have substantial experience of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Omniture, comScore) and experience of communicating data findings and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
To be successful you’ll be passionate about measuring and improving user experience, have a strong understanding of the iPlayer Radio Product offering, business analysis as well as analytics tools and technologies. Experience with multivariate / AB testing and Agile/Scrum development teams is a plus.
You’ll therefore have excellent excel, presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to simplify/resolve complex problems and provide creative solutions.
