BBC Worldwide is looking for a Head of Finance to be responsible for developing and managing all aspects of the content finances including performance analysis, business support, reporting, financial policy and controls, cash and risk management and statutory reporting. You'll be based in the Media Centre, West London.

Role

Your role will be to lead the Content finance function, coaching direct reports and developing talent. You'll develop and manage a strong internal control environment to maintain business integrity, minimise risk and ensure financial governance is adhered to. Providing recommendations to CCO and senior management team on the allocation of capital and resources, and control of costs to maximise value, you'll advise senior management on financial implications of day to day decisions to manage risk and protect revenue.

Requirements

We're looking for someone with a professional qualification in finance or accountancy. It's essential that you'll have substantial experience in a senior management role in a consumer-facing business. Media sector experience desirable. You'll demonstrate a collaborative approach and a global mindset: thinking and acting for both local and global needs.
