BBC Cymru wales contributes many hours of television, radio and online material each week to the networks, the nation and S4C. Our Post Production and Graphic Design department is the largest of its type outside of London and provides an unrivalled variety of work using first class facilities in both HD and SD. We post produce a wide range of programmes including Doctor Who, Crimewatch, The One Show, Young Musician of the year, Casualty and local output across all genres including live sport programmes.

Role

We are looking for a Post Production Co-ordinator familiar with working across all genres, with previous experience gained in the broadcast industry or at a facility house. You will will work closely with production teams and will design, produce and manage Post Production schedules that present an efficient plan based upon production needs and in house skills and availability. The schedules will require regular updates as required by the demands of the production. You will ensure that the Post Production schedule fits within the programme budget and manage the process to ensure the budget and delivery date is adhered to or negotiate any deviations with the production team.

Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well organised individual who is a good team player who will aim to achieve the best from our talented staff, and work in the most efficient and effective way for production. You will be responsible for organising and supervising the post production of a wide range of projects within BBC Wales. To be successful in this role you will be expected to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of post production workflows particularly in a tapeless environment along with the ability to adapt schedules to changing circumstances.
