Economist Intelligence Unit Senior editors


The Economist Group’s Thought Leadership division provides cutting-edge research and custom content that helps our blue-chip clients engage high-level business audiences and promote informed debate on a wide range of topics.
Continuing success has created two opportunities for senior editors: one to manage our technology projects and the other our research for Middle East & Africa based clients. Both will have powerful tools to draw upon - existing Economist Intelligence Unit analysis and data, as well as executive surveys and other research - to produce high-quality reports and editorial programmes. Working closely with our events and marketing teams, you will deliver this valuable and valued content in print, in person and through a range of digital and social media channels.
You will be responsible for managing key client relationships, planning and delivering projects, primarily in your main area of expertise as well as on a wide range of business subjects. Also, you will write and edit business surveys; commission and edit white papers; and work on a range of other projects.
You will be graduate calibre with excellent writing, editing, presentation, authormanagement and team leadership skills. You must have credibility, confidence and effective inter-personal skills along with solid experience in an editorial or research position, expertise in your specialist area and a keen interest in business.
