Lutheran World Relief Expressions of Interest for Cocoa Project

Lutheran World Relief is accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates specializing in a range of technical areas relevant to projects with a focus on cocoa. Lutheran World Relief seeks highly qualified candidates specializing in the following technical areas:

• Agronomy/Agroforestry • Post–harvest handling of cocoa and quality control • Agricultural value chain development • Capacity building • Operations Management - Accounting , HR and Logistics • Project Management • Monitoring and evaluation • Natural resource management

Candidates must fulfill the following qualifications: • Master’s degree in a related field; • At least 8 years of technically relevant experience; • Prior experience working on agricultural production or value chain development projects funded by USAID or by other major donors; • Professional, relevant experience in Latin America is preferred • Fluency in English; Spanish fluency preferred • Private sector agribusiness experience (management, production, etc.) highly desirable.
