One Electoral / Training expert - EU Technical Assistance to the Union Election Commission of Myanmar

E2 / One electoral/training expert (cat. Senior) 116 man-days

• Advanced University Degree (Masters or equivalent) in International Relations, Political Science, Law, Social Sciences, international development, economics or related fields.

General Professional Experience

At least 10 years of experience in the field of electoral assistance.

Specific Professional Experience:

• 10 years' relevant work experience, at least 5 of which involve implementation and management, at senior level, of electoral assistance activities;

• Familiarity with the legal and regulatory framework for the election as well as international and regional standards for elections;

• Substantial experience with the creation and implementation of training activities related to election operations and election administration, including BRIDGE modules;

• Excellent understanding of the functioning of Election Management Bodies;

• Working experience of transitional and emerging democracies, including in post-conflict environments;

• Excellent written and spoken English skills;

• Computer proficiency.
