Software Engineer Sunnyvale, California

Design, development and support of Network Management System Product Suite developed to manage Fujitsu Network Elements. This includes working with network management software, network planning and design tool and network element simulation software. Design, develop, debug, and analyze of object oriented software. System software design and development using Java. Analyze requirements, generate design documents, and produce code to be integrated with the NMS products.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, or related field plus 6 (six) years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in the job offered or as a Technical Lead or in a related occupation.

Knowledge of or experience in the following:
1. Design of distributed object oriented architecture using Corba
2. Developing Network Management System software for the telecom industry
3. Sonet, SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy), and DWDM (Dense Wavelength-division
Multiplexing) technologies
4. Data communication protocols such as SNMP, TCP, IP, or OSI and TL-1
5. Oracle and MySQL
6. Java or C++
