Ocean Rig has upcoming global opportunities for experienced Tourpushers to work on 6th generation ultra-deepwater drillships located off Brazil. We are looking for ambitious and motivated individuals who are seeking a fresh and rewarding challenge that will give them the opportunity to work with the latest technology on these vessels.

The Tourpusher reports to the Toolpusher.
Working with the Toolpusher to meet the goals and objectives set by Ocean Rig (OR) and the Operator (client).
Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the ongoing Night drilling operations
  • Support the Toolpusher in their function and ensure a strong working relationships with OR colleagues and Operator representatives
  • Supervise and ensure all planned maintenance and night repairs of rig equipment are carried out within a timely manner and of a high standard
  • Maintain a safe working environment for offshore colleagues and visitors, ensuring the ongoing development and on-the-job training for all new and reporting staff
  • Ensure the efficient and productive use of company resources, equipment and personnel

Desired Skills & Experience

Required Experience:
  • Applicants must have experience working in a similar function and level of responsibility
  • You will be trained in drilling operations and hold previous offshore experience
  • Experience working on a cyber drillship/semi-submersible is an advantage
Qualifications
  • Valid Well Control Certificate, Subsea Supervisor Level
  • Valid Offshore Survival Course, OPITO or equivalent
  • Valid Offshore Health/Medical Certificate
  • As a global organisation and to ensure a safe working environment, it is essential that all applicants have a strong level of English, both written and oral

We have also taken delivery of four brand new 6th generation drillships all of which are operational.
