Title: Maternal, Neo-natal and Reproductive Health Advisor
Country Office: Laos
Location: Laos PDR, Vientiane with regular travel to sub-offices
Position reports to: Program Quality Co-ordinator
Position Type: Fixed Term/ Project Funded (6 months with a possibility of extension)
The Health Adviser is a part of the emerging Program Quality Team, which provides technical guidance to CARE Laos’ program staff. A recent focus on gender mainstreaming, emergency preparedness and developing a ‘program approach’ is expanding to include monitoring and evaluation, technical excellence and civil society partnerships. The Health Adviser is a core and early member of this team and will play an important part in its establishment and consolidation, alongside other newly recruited advisers and a new team co-ordinator.
