Regional administrator, Norfolk

Christian Aid believes that everyone deserves the right to a full life, free of poverty and injustice. Our life-changing work couldn’t happen without people working dependably behind the scenes. With flawless attention to detail and a positive, proactive approach, your efficient support will help ensure the Norwich regional office runs smoothly.
Your work will enable our busy team to resource and inspire volunteers, churches and Christian Aid groups across Norfolk and Suffolk. You’ll be the first point of contact for supporters, and will build relationships with key volunteers. You’ll process our income and expenditure, keep accurate records on our database, oversee health and safety, manage levels of stock and resources, minute meetings, and ensure our high standards and procedures are adhered to. You will ensure all correspondence is dealt with including the acknowledgement of supporter donations; you’ll work collaboratively with the Regional Coordinators. You’ll keep our Christian Aid Week network going strong, working closely with volunteers. Whether someone requires branded envelopes or an update of the situation in Syria, you’ll be the person to find the answer.
With GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English, you’ve succeeded in a previous administrative position. You’re friendly and attentive, with an unwavering customer focus, and you enjoy working with the general public. You keep your eye for detail even when working under pressure and in a busy environment. An awareness of church networks, how to manage volunteers, and the geography of our five counties, would all be an advantage.
