As Senior International Fundraising Manager your role will be to grow voluntary fundraising income in emerging fundraising markets including Brazil, India and Nigeria with a particular emphasis on supporter marketing.
As well as supporting the development of these programmes, you will also directly line manage the Head of Fundraising in Thailand and the Head of Fundraising in South Africa, ensuring the successful start up of these two new supporter marketing programmes.
You will provide strategic and technical fundraising advice to build the capacity and capability of the fundraising programmes as well as monitoring and reporting on their effectiveness. You will also ensure compliance with best practice fundraising policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards.
With a qualification in a marketing related discipline, you will have extensive experience as a successful direct marketer, preferably with a minimum of two non-profit organisations. This will have given you solid experience of acquiring and managing a base of regular giving supporters and proven expertise in various fundraising techniques including digital fundraising.
You will have the ability to analyse and prepare detailed forecasts and budgets as well as assess fundraising performance across a broad range of methods. An effective communicator, you must possess strong presentation, negotiating, mentoring and coaching skills.
