Managing Consultant - Financial Services - Edinburgh - UK

We are looking for individuals with a consulting and industry background in retail banking. Experience of delivering and managing change, combined with a desire to help grow the client base in any of these sectors is essential.
We are particularly interested in experience in people with experience in business transformation, how do banks enter new markets, the consolidation and integration of operations, restructuring, customer transactions and online or mobile banking.
Managing Consultants are responsible for the devising, organising, and implementing high scale projects that are very complex in nature. You will have strong experience delivering these projects within financial services and will a demonstrated ability to write and develop proposals and deliver on sales targets.



Your experience will include, but not be limited to:
Operating experience:
• Business case and strategy development
• Target operating model design
• Programme and project management
• Performance improvement
• Business process redesign
• Cost reduction
• Outsourcing, shared services etc
• Implementation management and execution of business change.

Consulting skills:
• Help design, deliver and lead large scale and complex projects
• Work within mixed consulting and client teams, planning, managing and delivering work
• Successfully lead and grown a team
• Develop strategic client relationships, working at the senior levels on high profile work to tight timescales
• Develop services and propositions
• Responsible for quality, profit and project planning
• Exposure to sales in a consulting environment, ideally contributing to and supporting sales activity.

Candidates must have exceptional interpersonal skills and be willing to travel on business.

Applicants should hold a university degree with a 2:1 or equivalent.
