Warwick Business School is setting up a new research and teaching department in the field of Behavioural Science.

The new group is to be headed by Nick Chater, and has senior faculty including Bruno Frey, Graham Loomes, and Daniel Read. The group welcomes applications from candidates, with research interests in any area of Behavioural Science (BSci), taken to include cognitive science, psychology, decision sciences, behavioural economics, and quantitative social science.

You will be an outstanding scholar. You will have a track record of influential research and have the ability to contribute to the teaching of modules in Behavioural Science at various levels and to supervise PhD students. You are likely to have experience in, or potential for, attracting research funding. You will have the opportunity to play a role in moulding a new, exciting, world-class research and teaching orientated group and within the School more generally.

In the recent 2008 UK Research Assessment Exercise it submitted research output from over 130 staff. 75% of this work was recognised as being internationally excellent and rated as 3* and above.
