SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
RISK RESPONSE NETWORK

The World Economic Forum’s Risk Response Network (RRN) provides private and public sector leadership with a platform to better monitor, prepare for, respond to and mitigate complex risks in a continuously evolving global context. Strategically positioned, the RRN focuses on risk contexts where multistakeholder collaboration can strengthen global, regional and industry risk resilience.

As the team’s expert in virtual knowledge management, you will be responsible for the RRN’s online platform, including overall implementation and management of the platform, development and adoption of online survey and analytical tools; working with the RRN team to develop effective community engagement strategies and enhance information-sharing, and contributing to a strong and vibrant online presence for the RRN.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the project management and implementation of the RRN’s online platform and associated analytical tools, working closely with the RRN team and managing the efforts of external technology providers and consultants.
• Propose innovative new uses of data and information that will capture the interests of the Forum’s online community of risk experts from government, industry, civil society and academia.
• Develop various analytical tools that will support cross-sectoral views, knowledge and initiatives to advance the Forum’s work in global risk.
• Support the Forum’s meetings through development of new ideas and approaches that optimize the use of the new online platform.

Key competencies:

You possess a broad intellectual background with seven or more years of relevant professional experience, ideally in more than one sector, with a proven track record in developing dynamic online environments and using tools for data analysis and visualization. You have solid project management skills and experience in developing dynamic issue-based communities online. A master’s degree is highly desirable, in economics, public management or other related field.
