Pro Bono Curriculum Development Advisor – Tunisia

ABA ROLI is seeking a Curriculum Development Advisor for its program to support new lawyer training in Tunisia. The CD Advisor will be based in Tunis, Tunisia for a 2-month program that will focus on advising on the curriculum of a new lawyers training program with the objective of integrating practical lawyering skills, developing individual courses for the program, and training faculty on teaching lawyering skills and on interactive teaching methods more generally. The CD Advisor will work under the supervision of the ABA ROLI country director.

Ideal candidates will have: • JD (preferred) or Master’s Degree; • 10 years professional experience including 5 years in continuing legal education or legal education. Substantial experience with teaching practical lawyering skills, curriculum development and course development. • Experience with training other instructors; • Project management and organizational skills; • Experience working internationally.

Start Date: Early January 2012.
