Empowering children and delivering change

Reporting directly to the National Director, you’ll be accountable for the design, implementation and results of Plan’s programmes in Brazil. You’ll be monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of programmes, taking the lead on emergency measures, and developing staff in order to continually improve programme delivery. You’ll also be reaching out to colleagues in neighbouring countries to develop overall learning and strategic direction across The Americas.

To succeed you need to be strategically and operationally adept at developing child-rights oriented programmes in line with our global framework. Proven experience of working successfully with participating beneficiaries is important.

A deep understanding of child rights is essential - especially in relation to the social reality, economic development and market opportunities within Brazil - and your vision, direction and ability to generate support and mobilize resources on behalf of the poorest and most vulnerable children in Brazil must be world class.

The world needs to see change for children, and Plan is getting bigger and bolder in making this happen. Working across 50 countries in Africa, Asia and The Americas, we’re striving harder than ever to promote child rights and lift millions out of poverty.
