Deputy Director/ Chief Systematic Reviews - 3ie London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine

The International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) seeks a candidate to serve as the Deputy Director (Systematic Reviews) for the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie), with responsibility for managing 3ie's London office (which is hosted by LSHTM) and external representation of 3ie in Europe. 3ie is an organization devoted to improving lives through better policies, programmes and projects which are designed and implemented based on evidence drawn from high quality impact evaluations.

The post is based at the London International Development Centre (LIDC), which facilitates interdisciplinary research and training to tackle complex problems in international development by bringing together social and natural scientists from across the University of London's six Bloomsbury Colleges. It manages a growing portfolio of international research programmes, training initiatives, conferences and publications for over 1700 members and development partners.

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline and significant experience of working in one or more of rigorous impact evaluation, systematic reviews and the use of evidence to inform policy, as well as experience in research management.

This is a full time appointment to September 2013 in the first instance but with possibility for extension. Salary will be in the range £50,183 to £57,621 inclusive per annum. Access to a pension scheme and interest free season ticket loan, sports and social facilities are available.
