Executive Advisor - SAP Advisory

My client is re-energising the SAP business transformation market with a core focus of helping clients get real value out of their IT investments and business change programmes. The team is growing rapidly and is keen to attract the very best talent.

Strategy/Advisory work includes:

  • Contributing to the development of business cases for change programmes based on industry insight and providing the roadmap/approach to ensure the achievement of the planned benefits
  • Contributing to the development of a new business Target Operating Model (ToM)
  • Supporting work for clients to select the right system integrator / outsourcing provider
  • Process design work linked to the business case Solution architecture
  • Release management and integration management
  • Change Management
  • Compliance
  • Integration management

Executive Advisors will typically take a role in the sales cycle, assisting the preparation of bids for new work.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Understanding of the business/industry drivers that lead to SAP-enabled business change programmes
  • Understanding of the interaction and dependencies of teams in a programme environment
  • Detailed knowledge of how SAP enables at least one end-to-end business
  • Knowledge of SAP methodology
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

Experience and Background

  • Experience of providing input to business cases for large change programmes
  • Experience of working effectively with senior client representatives
  • Expertise in an end-to-end business processes, e.g., Order to Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay etc and their related key performance indicators
  • Experience of a number of full implementation project lifecycles, preferably from scoping and planning through to post go live support, at least as a team leader or subject matter expert
  • Experience of the key implementation issues that must be addressed in an SAP programme, particularly in their area of specialism
