Position Description | The Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology invites applications or nominations for the Sarah and Daniel Hrdy Visiting Fellowship in Conservation Biology. The Hrdy Visiting Fellowship is available either at the senior faculty level or at the junior (i.e., postdoctoral) level for one or two semesters. Duties include teaching one course and/or giving lectures in conservation biology, as well as research and collaboration with members of the Harvard community. Recipients of this fellowship are expected to have a strong and transformative effect on the study of conservation biology at Harvard, from the undergraduate to the senior teaching level. The fellowship includes a stipend with modest additional funds for research and teaching. Applicants should contact a faculty sponsor(s), with whom they will collaborate, before applying. Applications should include a cover letter with a statement of intent, CV, and representative publications, and applicants should arrange to have three letters of reference sent. |
Basic Qualifications | Candidates are required to have a terminal degree by the start date of the position. |
